Peanut Butter Easter Nest

A mixture of graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, butter & peanut butter forms the bird's nests that are filled with small candies.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chow mein or lo mein noodles Jelly beans or M&M's

Method

In a large mixing bowl combine graham crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix together, using hands if necessary, until combined. Then when the mixture is workable, add the noodles. Divide into 12 portions and place in cupcake liners. Push thumb into mixture to press mixture up sides and form an indentation in the center. (This is the bird's nest.) Then add the jelly beans or M&M's for the eggs.

 

Notes: This is a no-cook recipe that's fun and great for younger kids, or kids of all ages.
