Eggs a la Goldenrod

This fun Easter themed breakfast helps to save from the waste all of the colored eggs from the holiday.
 

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, separate whites and yolks
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 6 slices of toast

Method

Melt the butter and blend in the flour, salt and of pepper over low heat until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and slowly add milk, stirring constantly, boil 1 minute. Add chopped egg whites to sauce. Pour over toast and sprinkle with grated egg yolks.
