Donna's Au Gratin Potatoes

Tender sliced potatoes baked in a creamy cheese sauce for your next potluck, picnic or sit down meal.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cheddar soup
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
  • dash black pepper
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 thinly sliced small onion
  • 1 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • sprinkling of paprika

Method

Blend soup, milk and pepper. Spray 1-1/2 quart casserole lightly with vegetable spray. Alternate layers of potatoes, onions and sauce in casserole. Dot with butter then sprinkle with paprika. Cover and bake in 350F oven for 1 1/2 hours.

 

Notes: Actually this is lower in calorie than using real cheese.
