Creole Green Beans

Sauteed green beans with a flavorful sauce made of bacon, tomatoes, and mustard.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen cut green beans
- 5 bacon strips, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2c. chopped green pepper
- 2 tbs. all purpose flour
- 2 tbs. brown sugar
- 1 tbs. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

Method
Cook beans according to pkg. directions. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook bacon, onion, & green pepper over medium heat until bacon is crisp & vegetables are tender. Remove with a slotted spoon. Stir the flour, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, & mustard into the drippings until blended. Stir in tomatoes. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Drain beans & add to skillet. Stir in bacon mixture.
